Mess with the contrast a bit. You should have blackest-black and whitest-white somewhere (*note: my monitor on my laptop is incredibly dark and could be throwing the image off for me), plus a range of midtones. Also, watch the edges of your blur. There's a sharp edge where the blur starts on the left.
Otherwise it's a very nice shot, with a touch of a haunting quality created by the blur and lack of people. The overall early-afternoon brightness in the picture keeps it from becoming truly "haunting" though.

It's just a slight black and white with the field focused on the center of the pic. The blur was fun to mess around with in PS.

Personally, I think my best photographs are taken around midnight or 2-3pm. Not much of a morning shot guy, unless it is the summer.

Really need to upgrade to a Nikon D3200.

Early morning and late evening are considered the "sweet spots" for lighting. It's a really short window of time to work with though. :)

There's a cathedral in St. Cloud called St. Mary's so I thought just maaybe XD
