Looking at it one more time, Explorers really is an emotional roller coaster. It averts the very optimistic view that the main series has, but doesn't dip into the rather harsh stuff that goes on in Colosseum and XD, either. It's balanced, and focuses on you and your partner at the forefront.

I think that's why I love writing the pair so much. The development from start to finish is top notch and it's really a one-of-a-kind experience. If I had to choose one game to erase from my memory and experience it all over again, I'd pick this game.
