I've never had a pet goat, but they are cute.
When I was little, my mom's uncle had a zoo with a petting zoo area, there are photos of me hugging and petting the little mini-goats. I've always thought goats were neat, but I think my favorites are those little miniature ones. (I don't know the official name for them, i'll have to scan the pictures and post them sometime.)

Most definitely! I have had mine planned for a while lol. Dairy goats and a few fibers. Some Suri Alpaca along with the fiber goats for my wool spinning needs. I would love a Dapple Grey they are absolutely breathtaking and all I've met so far have had golden temperaments. I would also need some Indian Runner Ducks for eggs and comedy they look to me like bowling pins with feet haha.
mhm, i am actually going to start looking around to see if anyone around here will be able to board a goat if i do get one, but i would get 2 so they can keep each other company, when the farm does come, i would like to have horses, of course lol, rescues, i know of a draft rescue place in central florida, cows, goats, llama/alpaca, donkey, the list goes on.
Yes gotta have company! Would be unfair to deprive them of a herd. Lol yes I have heard of them! I know the rescue in St. Pete had a few livestock cuties there too. It would be nice to have one from a rescue as a companion or to ride. Lol I tried to limit mine. Think it'll end up a zoo..
