Since I didn't measure him when I got him, I'm glad I noticed this. I've had turtles before, but never noticed this. The area lined in red is the original size of that scale when I got him. The area lined in green is the current size of the same scale. I tried measuring the difference of that one scale and the best I could get is (from front to back) is 3/16 for the old and 5/16 for the new.
