Being a artist of Impressionism I have to say this is a beautiful piece for practice, but with how many colors you used it seems like you need a thicker paper, have you looked into any stores and seen watercolor paper made by " Lowell Cornell"? It's 4 1/2 cm thick on every sheet, often comes in 12 sheet booklets but you can even get them indavidualy in places like Hobby Lobby and Micheals. They can come in packages as big as 60 Pages. But they are really absorment, persistant depth and it takes alot of punishment from sharp tools and new brushes.

Your welcome RacoonWolf. I sometimes use this paper for color pencil drawings that need five or more blended colores as well, so it's pretty much watercolor paper that works with many mediums =D.

fabrino makes some realy nice paper. there is something nice about the juxtaposition of the more highly renderd head and back with the loosly indicated feet. i like your ears alot as well. i am glad you pushed the image further. it is easy to stop half way sometimes and the final vesion looks nice. keep up the good work.
