So some of you may remember Sabedoria from some of my last submissions some time back? A number of you asked for more, well... it's been quite some time, but here she is! I sincerely hope you enjoy! :D
If you're curious about Sabedoria:
The character's story is based off a number of mythologies, of course including that of the japanese kitsune. A running idea of mine is that many religions and mythologies have very apparent and often overlooked similarities between one another. I'm aware why this is, of course, but the idea struck me, "What if those concepts were real and the reason why so many of them share commonalities is because their trees all connect to the same root system?" To that end, I decided to create Sabedoria here; a mythical, almost fae-like being that only visits our world on certain dates and at certain times.
Unfortunately, when you're a mythological creature with the power to tap into natural powers... you tend to draw the attention of lesser races who'd like to use that power for themselves.
Ah well!

Actualy the correlation between various fox mythos in asian countries is well known. Its believed that the kitsune came from china, which came from I believe it was india or one of the others. Theres actually a book that goes over them all and how they relate to each other and how they evolved to the seperate but similar mythos we have today in each country. Its a fascinating read. I wish I could remember the name of the book.
So your concept isnt too far off the mark! I love it. :3

If I remember Ill definately let you know. I know that the book "Kitsune: Japan's Fox of Mystery, Romance, and Humour
-by Kiyoshi Nozaki" touches on it briefly. I tried to google what I thought was the name of the book but it didnt come up. Which isnt a surprise because it was a very very old book (as is the one I mentioned) and their both out of print. If I find it I will let you know.
