We have an annual tradition: The Christmas Tree Fight. A family dispute regarding where to put the tree in a room with no place for it. Last year we compromised, and the tree went in an alcove where it was out of the way, but didn't quite fit and had to be bent over at the top. I wanted to go without a tree altogether.
Oh my, this brings back memories. I grew up with a white Christmas tree back in the 70's. We had that thing for years and finally gave it to our grandparents and they had it for many more years. That thing was huge and took forever to put together.
Now I just pull a small one out of the box and plug it in....but of course it is not white. ;)
