So a little explanation:
Kvazin used to be tainted with the Void which is even darker than the darkness itself, not to mention it's something terrible intelligence beyond anything whih only consumes both time and matter. Space is the neutral state between Void and Light.
Nevesa opened his Heart once again in his life when they both found their ways together, when Kvazin was purified from his curse.

Actually it wasn't upon the colours, it was up to the shading, a completely black layer felt with Default black and changing its opacity to 75%, then the erasing work did the rest. :)
