Psychic Madness: Mewtwo's Heartless


I'm finally finished with the picture, it's colored and shaded... cell-shaded (haven't done that in a while).

The idea for Mewtwo's Heartless came from a fad that seems to be going around DA lately. I saw, not only K.H. heartless, but Sonic and many other games made into heartless characters. So I thought, "eh... I can do that."

The first thing I did was the posture, 'cause it's very important. A good posture can spell the difference between a badass character and a lazy-ass character. Then I did the basic design of mewtwo. No problem there since I had past experience of drawing him.

When it came down to turning him into a heartless, that's where the challenge was at. I had fun doing the design, adding stuff that would make him look like he was dipped into the very darkness itself yet tried my best to keep him recognizable as mewtwo. So I just added this and that, moved this here and there. The heartless symbol is a pain-in-the-bronx to draw. After design, I then start coloring and shading.

After being done with that, I add a simple background... because I'm too lazy to make a really good one. :P
