I had so much fun doing the Trixie series I decided to continue the Hodges Pond stories with another Series. Those of you familiar with Orville will recognize the opposing candidate "Steve" This will be Steve's debut appearance in Hodges Pond. Steve never appeared in Critter County.

Ahhh Windsor & Newton. Was it a Series 7 Kolinsky sable? An Artists' Water Colour sable ? Always loved the sable brushes over the synthetic or blended types.
Gotta ask, did you have a particular favorite type of ink?

Yep the very one. that is the exact brush if i recall. it was a water color brush. I like using the Higgins Black Ink (the water soluble kind) I also used a pentel liquid paper pen for corrections and white touch ups. I miss doing comics that way. its just easier to do these digitally. it allows me to do more with the art especially with the white part of the inking.
