Welp, this is me, and a vey good friend of mine dressed as Captain Jack Sparrow. Even has the hand movements and everything.
I've been meaning to upload this, and finally got around to doing so. This was Taken at the Blackbeard Festival in Downtown Hampton, VA. I plan to go again this upcoming year with an even better outfit!
That blunderbuss would make an excellent melee weapon, and is currently hanging on my apartment wall :D

Ayup. Some parts of ships had no light, and raids commonly happened at night, so pirates would keep one eye in the dark with the eyepatch, and when something like that came up, they'd switch the eyepatch to the eye that had been kept in night.

For some reason this reminds me of one of the first weekends of the Ohio Ren Faire. A group of fursuiters came out (it was so friggin hot, I dunno how they didn't all melt) and I squeed so hardcore. I ran from the jousting arena to get a picture of them! Lmao

There was one suiter at the pirate festival. It was a dingo, and he had a pirate outfit on. It was pretty cute, and all the kids loved him, 'cept Bells. He came within that five foot anti-personnel barrier and waved....Bells went off like a air raid siren
