I would not say I'm a 'good maker'. My pattern still leave something to be desired. But as are all works in progresses.

But I'm not taking on any new commission for the moment. I can add you to a list tho. Once I get everything current, I can move you to the working queue.

They kinda make it a little top heavy. It you wear the hat too far back without tying it, it falls off.

Of 'corse my head is also smaller then the intended wearer, so that might be why it's falling off me. Also my pattern is not perfect (in my opinion)

This is quite possibly one of the coolest hat accessories I've ever seen

This is gorgeous - those horns must have been so complicated to do! Well done!

Boy I'll tell you what! They get so thick you can't get a sewing machine, much less my hands, into it. You end up having to hot glue part of it.

Don't get me wrong, It's still sewn on tight. They aint going anywhere. But parts of it can only be glued down.
I have to admit, these are the neatest looking of the hats I make, but they are also the biggest pains in my ass to make.
Hopefully I figure out ways to make them simpler to sew down the road.

Is it leather, or vinyl, something like that? You can get special leather needles, for future reference - just be careful not to stab yourself in the finger with them as I've done in the past - VERY sharp!

It's a general purpose needle.
Granite, it would would better if it were a 'leather' type needle, but the machine itself can't sew though it. It's not a heavy duty machine, so you can only push it so far. I don't want to snap a bearing from forcing it.
