True, everybody's got things they like about
their mate. Then there's the things they
really like (no, it's not that kind of sonnet
this week).
But a married bunny and a wolf. It is possible
there's something about him she *really* likes...
(Wonder if any artists will notice this one; could be neat to see.)

On Mildly Unnatural Jealousy (#22)
The oddest bunny in all creation.
That’s what I’d be. But I don’t think I’d mind.
His fur’s so sleek and fine. My attention
With brush goes beyond fixing knots I find.
Every day routine: breakfast and quick groom.
Quick work for him; short-furred lapine am I.
He licks my ears to close. Across the room
I’ve heard said: ‘Do I smell wolf?’ Yes, I sigh.
And if I had his fur? A wolf-bunny?
Oh yah, do it in seconds, hold me back.
As cross-breeds go I would look quite funny.
But in spirit there’s nothing that I lack.
It goes both ways: my scent’s on him, you know.
Thick tail wags ‘tween my legs; your nose will show.
