Another one for FC's Art-Show, one of a three piece set. Haven't decided, yet on whether or not to frame them all together in a triptych matte, or frame them individually. Basically, I hope they'll sell together, since they're a series.
Water-colours and ink.
I have this awesome set of 94 colours that I'd gotten from a fellow at the PS that I'd originally thought were pastels... Then I experimented with them (as I do with any art supplies) and I was a happy, happy dragon. Woot! Now, I can go for those delicate colours I prefer on my art, instead of the dark, overworked stuff I've been so disappointed with. Ha HA!
Two more on a similar theme to come, plus an insanely-detailed one with chipmunks.
By the way, all of these images come from events I've either witnessed myself or heard as stories from others. And, yes, I know "tails" means the butt-dangly and "tales" means the story about the butt-dangly. It was deliberate. LOL

Heh, they are definitely smart, and/or determined. >^__^<
I have a family of chipmunks living under my deck who may be proving to be the same. I had a full bird-feeder, took a while for the local critters to notice it (I was hoping for birds, of course, and did get a few species), then...duh duh DUH- chipmunks! I watched one little fuzzy run UP the wall-corner, defy gravity (I have a spiffy pic of him doing this) by sitting on the wall as if gravity was under his butt *belly down) then streeetch across a gap almost too big for him, hang by his bare rear-claw-tips as he went head deep into the feeder. He eventually managed to get onto the feeder's lip and was comfy there, stuffing his little cheek-pouches.
They emptied the thing in less than five days. LOL Got a cool idea for a drawing out of that: a little witch's cottage, ringed with roses, herbs and other flowers, a big gazing-ball in the middle of it, and an old tomcat watching the scene by the house wall (he's hiding behind the stairs), as a team of chippies run relays- one going up with an empty sack, one heading down with a full sack, one at the bottom with more sacks to hand to the others. And, lastly, one chip in the bird-feeder, ready to shovel seed... This one is going to be a seriously detailed piece, where I'm going to be testing my painting-skills hard. Wish me luck, I might still fuck it up.

Oh, no- he trapped them? Eep.
I don't plan on killing these little guys- they were here first, they're far too cute, they don't seem to be doing any damage (we're not sure if it's them in the walls- those seem to mice and possibly a wood rat or two) and they take a lot, but there's enough left for the birds. They're also fun to take pix of. LOL Some illustrations based on their antics are forthcoming. >^___^<

It was some hilarious shit, I'll tell you. My old man is certainly a little stir crazy at times, but he's dedicated.
Been about two years since he's seen a squirrel on his property. >.> Seems if you blast enough of the buggers, the ones in the neighborhood learn to stay away from the property with the red bird feeders. Funny though... we had a mother fox in the area at the height of this. O.O I had no clue foxes were... that omnivorous.

Actually the Fox had been on the property for a long time.. you have to understand that when I say property, I mean a 500,000$ hunting lodge in the middle of no where with some 20 acres or such worth of primal forest and grassy hills. There is a LOT of wildlife in the area. The Fox had been there a long time. She still is.. but the Squirrels have learned to stay the hell away after their bodies started lining a ditch.
Imagining the squirrel climbing up there with the "Mission Impossible" theme playing in the background...
Then the scene switches to that picture and the music stops, accompanied by the "record needle skipping off the record with a scratchy sort of noise" effect, hehe.
Cool pic
