Well it is not completely dark out but it is sunset. Yeah, I pretty much wanted to draw up something as a silhouette and this came to mind since listened to Hotel California not to long ago. Used a simple gradient for the background and have a planet in the upper left corner. It was a quick and easy piece to make since simple color pallet and no need for strong detail work. Decided that there might as well be a hotel off in the distance with this so that is what the little building is.
