Seems that whenever I'm happy, I draw sad art, and when I'm sad, I draw happy art.
It started as me wanting to draw myself a new avatar. Then, I realized I wanted to draw out a concept I'd had in my mind for a while. So then I thought I'd expand the picture a little bit, and it ended up being a full-body, shaded piece. I'm really proud of how it turned out. I feel like I managed to capture emotion, which is good because I don't feel like i do in most of my pieces.
I also don't draw art for myself often enough, and when I do, pictures of my characters are rarely anything other than references. So I'm proud of myself for breaking that wall down.
