This is pretty cool. Making me a bit bummed I never really got into any kind of animation. But I guess my problem always has been that I couldn't think of anything simple to do for a beginner that was any good. Also I suck at finding sound effects that I like... And it takes too long. And other things.

Music is pretty good too. I remember people really liked ParagonX9 when I used to go to Newgrounds, but I never really cared about his music. This I like.

Thanks! And don't worry about it, animation is tricky to get into. I've just been spriting animation stuff for a few years now, so it's not so tough for me to get back into it, heheh. Most of the stuff here is just tweening though, it's not even really animation, lol. If you're looking for something simple to start with, sprites are easy, since you generally want to use the previous frame when making the next one. Maybe just an idle animation like I did here, or a walk cycle. Sometimes you can get away with less frames than you think would look good, because the watcher sort of fills the in-betweens.

As for the sound effects, I agree, that's why I made these, hahaha. And even then I went through testing 4 different sounds for the stat-number noises (I still don't really like it but this was the best I could come up with, heh). I just used an 8-bit sound maker (found here: http://www.drpetter.se/project_sfxr.html) which has some nice auto-generate features to help you mess around with it.

I always use newgrounds music for stuff like this, if only because it's all available for use and I already have a good sort of library going. I still like ParagonX9's stuff, heheh, but there are plenty of other people on there who know one's ever heard of that deserve as much recognition.

Yeah I think that's another problem. I never found a way to make Tweening look good, so I've only dabbled in frame by frame. Well except that time I tried to make Shape Tween work. But, since I'm inexperienced, those didn't look that great either. But that was a while ago. I kinda told myself that I should get better at art to try any animating. My art is still not super, but I guess I could try again now. And yeah, I usually defaulted a 24 frames per second cause I kept hearing how animation used to always be at that framerate. But I dunno, sprite would be good, but I don't like the pixel tool add-on I downloaded that one time. I guess I just have to find something simple and dumb to do.

Oh yeah, that sound thing looks like a thing I remember the Flash Bro talked about that one time on NG also (I don't english well). I already thought about making my own sounds effects in a more Foley work way, but I didn't have a good mic. lol

Yeah the Audio Portal is good that way, but back then I didn't really think that the artist there were all that great. The music the community liked were kinda meh to me, especially compared to music by more known artist. But lately I've been hearing good stuff from there. I played a game called Bullet Audyssey that has a song I've been playing on loop lately. And now this is pretty good.

Well the latest flash has a bunch of new stuff with tweening. That's how I got those flashing effects and things, those are tweens. But yeah for actual animation, I wouldn't tween (like what Legendary Frog used to do, if you remember that guy hahah) but animating by hand is pretty time consuming. It does help you practice drawing the same thing from multiple angles, though.

I'm not using any pixel tool add-ons for flash, I'm just making sprites in paint and importing the .png files, heheh. I don't think that's really the most efficient way to do it, but it works for me. If you're looking for something simple and dumb, walk animations of very simple characters are usually good to start.

Eh, sometimes you don't need a good mic if you're just making simple sound effects, heheh. (Also your english is fine, especially if it's not your first language, hahah).

Heheh, well there are different genres and everything, but yeah there seems to be a common theme sometimes.

Of course the music is great in that one! It's DannyBStyle! But I don't count him as part of the Audio Portal though, cause he has nothing uploaded there (And his music is good. Oooooh! :P). He usually make the music for games by Edmund McMillen (BlueBaby). Like Super Meat Boy and The Binding of Isaac! Last Flash game I played with these 2 on Newgrounds was Spewer(http://www.newgrounds.com/portal/view/494129) which has a pretty catchy tune.
