LOL yeah, I think hanging out on FA has actually been rough on my connection with my spirit animal. I used to feel so inspired every time I saw a picture of a wolf, and now I'm more likely to be bored. *sigh*

Still, Wolf has been my spirit animal for a long time - including visionary dreams and a whole long spiritual self-discovery process. I don't really wish for a more unusual spirit guide either . . . I kind of just wish everyone else would find a different one. (*kidding*)


Anyway, thanks very much for liking it despite your boredom with wolves. They really are amazing animals. It's not their fault they're over-popular among furries. *grin*

When you said "predates," I read it as the present tense singular verb of what a predator does. So in my mind, your spirit connection is hunting your furry side for food.

That's like, I told a friend of mine that my other core animal, the one that doesn't come out nearly as often (and I have 7 more spirit animals besides the core 2), is unicorn. I told her that I love unicorns, but I don't like girly, fluffy, trailer-trash unicorns, and it's hard to find unicorn images with which I resonate.

She, thoughtfully, found me a t-shirt with a fighting unicorn on it. The weird part: it's fighting a werewolf, and the caption says, "it's on now"
