Gusset was special-ordered by a fairly popular up-and-coming young seamstress. Around the shop Gusset mostly helps with tiny embroidery and detail-work, although her owner has a special deal where Gusset will create an outfit for a customer's toy while the seamstress herself is working on the customer's clothing. Its a pretty popular sales gimmick, and it allows Gusset a good deal of freedom and creativity, which she enjoys (Gusset definitely inherited a good bit of her owner's prima-dona attitude).

Because of her specialized job, Gusset has an extremely refined sense of touch, and fairly thin 'skin', so she doesn't venture out of the shop unaccompanied very often for fear of damage. Her wind up key is a small, unobtrusive twist-knob. Her glasses are purely for show, Gusset thinks they make her look more commanding and important. Gusset is also "fully functional" as it were, because as strict and no-nonsense as her owner seems, she thinks that "Toy couples" are adorable, and would love it if she caught Gusset sneaking some other Toy into the back room some day.
