This song always reminds me of these two.. (the vocals are a perfect fit).... and Blade behaves differently when it's one-on-one.
Purposely left totally unfinished, because anything short of a 'ghostlike' appearance seemed to damper the expressiveness - that's also what happened to any hint of clothing.

What I'm thinking is soft lineart in a certain colour other than black, soft colouring, gentle shading or only some highlights. All specific details that aren't seen here, should be very softly coloured as more undertones.. making the background bright white and glaring softly over the outlines of the characters. Eyes not defined.. maybe. I just gotta get a chance to simply work on it. But, the colouring will be very soft and mild.
