quick little comic i did during my stream of something that actually happened to me during Skyrim today. fox saw me coming and decided to leap into the water for safety. when he hit the water he went rocketing downstream with the strong current, I look over and see a rather tall waterfall. foxie nooooooooo

For a series that does its best to create an immersive, convincing game world, the Elder Scrolls series still has some kinks to work out of its system, it seems. Each one, though, does seem to get a little better. I've played Morrowind and now Oblivion, and can't wait to experience Skyrim when I finally get the chance.
My story isn't so much funny as it was kind of epic.
Here my Khajiit girl is, walking through the woods at night, when out of nowhere, a deer runs by, chased by a large wolf. I followed to see if I could watch the fight, but couldn't find the deer at all. Next thing I know my girl is being aggro'd by said wolf. I smack it once with my axe, then run forward and swing at the same time to get a cinema kill where my Khajiit girl kicks the wolf in the chest and then in one fluid motion continues by swinging the axe down and splitting the wolf's spine in half. Twas rather impressive.
Then, as she was walking away with the wolf pelt (and a gold wtf!?) as her prize, she found the fox it had killed just before it took off after the deer.
