so if you haven't seen my journals already,
here is the story,
3 years ago I wanted to do some work for the angry nerd and i have
this image, just appear, However, 3 years ago I lacked the Photoshop
skills i needed to make it appear correctly in my head.(I just wanted to do it right).
anywho, having sent the nerd my fan art yesterday, i happened to browse around the fan art gallery and notice these:

So as I said in the previous journal, I must be psychic,
but i think everyone is to some degree.
I am however really glad that i took the time to exercise my skills to draw
this. This is something that shows myself that "I am improving" of course
ill always continue improving, but at least for myself I realize,
I'm not going down any.
And if I ever have a brilliant idea, Ill still do it,
but its probably gonna be the same idea 1000 other people have
had, but, thats how the physic chain works.
(I think thats how nature created us, so we learn to work together rather then against, when the idea is shared the possibility is greater)

i was actually using a real pic of him for reference,
but i think in the image of him frowning he looked
as though he was trying not to smile,
so thats where the lack of wrinkles went.

but as for everyone else comments, yea, he is kinda cartoony.

I hope it gets planted in the movie somewhere,
that would be sweet, but I'm not gonna hold my breath.
still, this was something for me, just something I needed to prove
to myself to let myself know that I was capable of painting an
image of this quality, lets me know I can keep going further in
good quality images.
so, it was a bit of a let down of a response, but, I didn't let
it get me down, I'm sure I'm going to hear worse throughout my
days.

This is an excellent tribute James Rolfe's AVGN and '80s style poster/game label art of the past. It's gritty, intimidating, and as Purple-scarf said, well-rendered. In particular, the effect of your chosen strong light source and how it emphasizes the gritty, intimidating feel without being overwhelming. As much time and energy as you've put into it, the end result oozes nothing but quality.
Is this available for printing? I think would make an awesome poster for my bedroom wall or game room. If not, being able to fave it is better than nothing.

Sounds like a good idea eh? Though I worry how Cinemassacre would feel about that, I wouldn't want you to get in trouble over something like this if you tried to sell it as a print since some people are stingy like that.
Still, I am interested. When I get some pocket change in hand, and everything is in the clear let's work out a deal.
