Here's another old digital painting from 2009. I put more effort into this one than the Almalphia one, but it still has some issues.

Tariana is one of my kirin characters. Umm I can't think of much else to say about this. I think I spent like 6 hours on it, it was on in photoshop. I drew the kirin and background outline on paper then scanned it in and painted over it. I looked at references of many different photos of waterfalls, water, and trees but nothing specific.

I kind of want to try doing digital stuff over christmas again, so I figure by uploading these I'll be forced to look at them and get inspired. :P We'll see!
