Considering the hardships behind why Bloo's been down I'm pretty shocked you made such a comment >.> I know you obviously don't know her or what's gone on behind closed doors but even so. I wouldn't ever make such a comment on a picture that obviously shows that someone has been hurting :/

Even without the title and the description of the circumstances behind this picture, it's meaning is clear and unambiguous.

She is naked, vulnerable, concealing nothing. Her body posture is forward, leaning against her friend with her hands braced against his chest, not in embrace but instead seeking support. Her ears are forward and cupped against her head, her eyes are closed, she is trying to protect herself and block something out. She is crying.

His hands are relaxed, placed on her head and shoulder not encircling on trapping her against him should she wish to pull back. His eyes are close and his ears are towards her and up, he is listening with all of his attention upon her and distractions blocked out.

The overall tone is quiet, reflective and decidedly non-sexual in nature beyond the fact that it's a young woman and young man, friends, sharing a tender moment.

As this was inspired by a real event, I do hope that she is feeling better, and it's a beautiful image to enjoy.

I don't want to sound like a pessimist, but while reading your analysis...since it's a drawing, I wonder if deon intended for all those details in the manner you see them. I'd like to think so.

thanks! i feel as though clothing and hair really do bring out the detail in my pics. that's why i actually prefer drawing "general" or "erotic" type stuff.

I really hope she is doing okay! I know I've been in a lot of pain recently myself (girlfriend of 5 years left me) so I can kind of can relate as far as feeling really down. There's really not much you can say. Time is the only thing that can really help heal you.

In all fairness it's actually a pretty funny show, I don't get the hate behind it myself. Fun fact, all of the cast were pretty much best friends off screen as well, and all agreed that they'd only do the show if they ALL got the same salary. True story.
