I once heard from somewhere that, as an artist, if you can capture a viewer's attention for more than six seconds, you've managed to make an impression. So I suppose it says something that I spent about a full minute soaking in every detail the graphite could convey to me. This piece is beautiful, hun. Not only from the obvious aesthetic standpoint, but from the spiritual and soulful one you perpetuate in your comment and the title. Indeed, this may very well be my single most favored work from you...which is saying a lot, considering that you are one of my favorite artists, period.

I wasn't intentionally experimenting, just kinda letting the pencils do their thang, but I was trying to finally work out how to do a couple things, like Arty's lashes. <:)

I lurve how all the fur you draw has texture, like you can pick out individual hairs. Folds in the clothes... that much detail would drive me bats. o.o

This picture simply radiates serenity and calm embrace of life.
It's been quite some time since anyone had seen Arty that much at ease, and Vinci so happy and relaxed. I really hope such moments are not too much of a rarity in their lives - of course, being an oasis in the turmoiling sea of everyday makes such experiences yet more precious, but there'd positively better be more of them ;3
