Back in my /v/ days, Pandemic 2, some flash game somewhere, was hitting the big-tops. Everyone was talking about it and how Madagascar was a big piece of shit because it was impossible to infect. Soon after that, I found some livestream channel where everyone's name was just a fully capitalized country name, so I thought I'd be clever and take MADAGASCAR, in light of the Pandemic pandemic. Soon after THAT, I found another livestream channel that I've been participating in for over 3 years now. I forgot to change my name back from MADAGASCAR and everyone started calling me "mada" and it just kind of stuck.

That's the thin and fat of it, I guess. Nothing life-changing.

Oh yes, I remember that game, and how impossible it seemed unless you magically got Madagascar as your first country. It's cool how your name just stuck to that.

Names are rarely what we intend, I GUESS.
