Working on an engineering degree, with plans to live simply and cheaply so that hopefully 90+% of my income is spending money (once I've done away with student loans and whatnot). While I have expensive hobbies (guns, cars, and prototyping crazy engineering things that may or may not be marketable to build a business with) that will likely eat up a fair chunk of that, I do have plans to actually leave some set aside for commissioning artists and generally helping others out.
that's good. it should pay enough for those hobbies. As for me, I'm learning information technology. My goal is to get comptia a+, network+, network security+ certifications. Then maybe get a job in computer repair, tech support, or something. With the extra money, i'll try to fund a comic series.
Information technology is a good field in today's world. If information technology vanishes as a job option, there are probably bigger problems to deal with like the collapse of modern society or robots taking all jobs everywhere. Any job you find with those certifications should pay fairly decently, and they're available, which is an important factor these days. Combine that with some modest living and you should be more than set for comfortable living.
Never really read any manga myself, I've probably seen black and white flames once or twice but it's been few and far between to the extent that I completely can't remember it. Might have to give that technique a shot, got a picture I've been meaning to redo that would be a perfect opportunity.
Wow...glad I clicked on the ad.
Haha! you know, you don't really realize just how good it is unless the actual drawing is made on such a huge canvas. I believe in more detail depending on the resolution, and this brings all of that out with the art of graphite. Unfortunately, this Full view picture is smaller than real size, which, is okay, i guess. very good!
