Older Yerf-era pic! And one I'm surprised I didn't post sooner, considering.
She was actually designed for a comic project back when I was still going to art college. The actual project ended up a flop (we couldn't finish on time, yadda yadda yadda), but this pic still remains. And I still like 'er, considering she's a bit of a...well, I'll say it, she's not the most unique of character designs I've ever designed (not that I'm that much of a pro on that or anything). But if I may rant a bit, the comic premise was no breath of fresh air either, but eh.
I'd talk more, but I is gonna go sleep now kthnx.

Didn't I tell you to go to sleep earlier? >/ Stayin' up so late can't be healthy... *gently hits you on the head with a rolled newspaper*
Anyway, don't take me seriously. S'just one o' my silly moods.
As for the pic goes, let me take another look at it and I'll comment.
Not particularly fond of felines but the concept is good. The muzzle seems a bit flat, not that is a bad thing either; it gives her a more avian appearance, only without a beak.
The tails is... strange, but not unpleasant. I like new things. It would only take me a while to get used to see it.
The clothes are small but well designed too. I take it she prefers to wear as less garments as possible? ^^;
Now let me advise you on something; the wings. I think they needed a bit more of detail. Feathers are never together in the same place to look like that; if it makes sense. Only a few lines would have changed that. =P
Nice job.
A todo esto... por que comento en inglés? :|

A todo esto...porque criticas un dibujo viejo? o_o
*ahem* First off, muchas gracias (y perdoooon! Ayudaria si digo que estoy contestando en el mediodia?). Second of all...hmmm. I highly appreciate the critique's and I'll try to take the wing suggestion to heart (goodness knows I need to work on my wings anyway --I draw birds alot, you'd THINK this shouldn't be a problem, but nooo!)...but I believe now I have an addendum to add to a certain journal topic that's been going around - getting critiques for drawings done *years* ago, while still developing my skill. Now I'm not dissing you. If anything I should thank you for bringing this nitpick of mine to light. And so I will. Thank you.

I was mostly complimentin', rather than criticing. =) But even if is an old picture, I thought you would like to see a comment... and I wasn't feeling lazy for once! Sometimes, old pictures are not much different from the actual ones; I'm sure nobody would have been able to tell if you didn't mention anything in the description. I only noticed a few differences like the color and expression, which you have improved . That's also something that is nice to see; how you have developed your style.
I don't know why, but it seemed your work was better back than. Like it was more inspired, or something.
...wow, I don't know what to say to this. Because anything I want to say in relation to this comment is not a good one at all. I'm very sorry to say, you hit me in my non-existing balls saying that, man. What the hell.

Yes, but look at what you are saying. It's like you are impling that no matter how much I try to up my ante, to improve my creative thinking, it can't compare to the old stuff.
This is not something I really need you to openly share with me, man. I'm glad you take your tme to comment on my work, but realize not every comment you can tell a person is really necessary to say, or even wanted. This, sad to say, is one of them.
I'm just...I'm just saying, you know? My non-existent balls need ice like you woudn't believe after that last blow (oh I can just say vagina, but the point is, OW).

Sorry if this seems a bit out of left-field, but I was looking through older pics for something and stumbled into this old convo.
Let me just take this opportunity to apologize for my 4-year old self. I was being an idiot back then with my words. Suffice to say, though, you have a point that my older stuff is better, but so help me, I want to work to get my creative spark back, even if I have to do it between school and commissions. I think I've done some progress so far, but I leave that for others to decide.
