After a long bumpy road with this image, I think it is finally coming together. About 3/4 through the image, I had a major meltdown when my file corrupted. But now, looking at the current rendition, I'm sort of glad it did. The other color scheme was not nearly as nice as this one, and the vegetation in the old one (in the foreground) was always off, so I have spent a good time replanning it in this new rendition.

The odd white things on the rocks are candles, and I'm planning some wine, cheese, and crackers as well, sort of a surreal celebratory cuddle at sunset. The celebration being her pregnancy ♥

Once I finish the rest of the rocks, I'll go into the flowers and plants around them, then some of the grass and bushes in the foreground, and finally, the characters themselves.

An apology for the extended time this has taken me :C Painting is a bit of a new style for me, so many of the techniques were experimental, nonetheless, I thank you for giving me the ability to work on such lovely characters.

If there is anything severely off about this, please feel free to let me know. I sincerely hope the new color scheme is alright by you as well.
