I am so happy to announce that I have received my first commission by
katsuke! He did an absolutely stellar job with this pic, and I'm gonna use it for my profile's ID!
Basically, it's my fursona chilling at the arcade, playing House of the Dead whilst sipping on some good ol' fashioned cola. The reason I chose this theme was because going to the arcade was always a pastime favorite of mine, and House of the Dead has always been my favorite childhood game, and it still is today! Nothings more fun than blasting zombies/mutants with a big freaking magnum and giving them the good ol' fashioned know-how! X3 So yeah, this is basically to reflect my feelings of nostalgia in a way, and Katsu did an amazing job at capturing it!
So yeah, Hope you guys enjoy, and I just wanna thank my buddy Katsu for doing such meritorious work with this pic! I love it to death, and I hope to get more from him in the future! ^^
Heh, I've always wondered how Chrome would look in his style. Damn, I look cute. X3 I just love the facial expression!

You didn't play the first? Awwww... D: That game is the best in the series, imo. Because it basically did everything right and it was straight to the point. Blast zombies to chunks, fight bosses, save the day, the end.
I never had a problem with the 3rd game, though. Sure the shotguns were a bit heavy, so it's impossible to dual-wield them, unlike the other games in the series. But it's still fun. The fourth game is the least impressive for me. Rather than zombies getting blown to chunks, they just lose flakes of their skin when you shoot them and disintegrate when dead. The characters were annoying as hell, too! Spouting lame catchphrases and trying to act witty, and constantly say "We must not lose hope! We must carry on no matter what!" in almost every damn cutscene! Seriously, I'm all for a theme of mankind perservering, but they just won't shut up! XD
Also, the last 2 bosses in the fourth game were a real pain in the ass, especially the very last one. Sonuvabitch caused me put so much strain on my hand from gripping the gun and shooting him it gave me a blister. ;I

I managed to beat Overkill multiple times, and for the sum of its parts, it's a really good on-rails shooter, despite the fact that it went a bit TOO overboard with the profanity. But yeah, many considered it to be one of the best Wii games when it was released, and it definitely became one of the most talked about game in the series...
But yeah, it's a really awesome game series. I guess the only problem with the shotgun is that you can't dual-wield it... unless you're one of those special people who can. X3 But yeah, 3 was a fun game when I first played it in arcades, but none of the newer games seem to have the charm that the first two games had.
