Looks like your agency has no money seeing how that light bar and spotlight look 20 years old. We just got 2011 Chargers with Federal Signal Valors and four license plate cameras on each.

That is one of the old units, we have some new ones with LED light bars. But were part of the school district so our funds are limited.

So that's why you have no gear. That sucks, I hate dealing with smartass kids. Hopefully you can get out of there asap.

No, i had my equipment belt with all my gear in my truck. But any way elementary are easy to deal with and high school is ok, but middle school that is a pain. The inmates in the pen. had more respect than some of these kids. I even had one test me by charging at me, now that would of bean ok if not for the faked that I had just quit the pen. and joined the BISD PD. so I walk in to the gym and I'm looking around and one of the seventh grade boys decides to run at me and he's wearing an all white out fit, so whit do I do, I go back into TDCJ mode and I almost relocate his neecap. Luckily I remembered that I was in a school not the pen. in time to prevent a major headache for me and a hospital visit for him.

Have you heard of police nunchucks? They are basically a replacement for your baton, but you can still have your baton and wear the nunchucks on your leg with a platform. You don't beat people with the nunchucks (though can, of course), you use them to wrap around their arm or leg and twist them up, then squeeze the handles together to put on painful pressure. With only a little practice, you can do it extremely fast and out of no where. They will be all confused and overwhelmed and their friends will know not to fuck with you.

It's a really good way to deal with those who try to purposely get their asses kicked by police only to act like victims of brutality.
