The character is supposed to be a fictionalized version of myself. The inspiration I gave the artist to work off as an example was Ronon Dex from Stargate: Atlantis, my favourite character from that show. I also asked for some sort of decaying urban environment as the background, and in my opinion the artist did an excellent job. :)
