This was one of two parts of my final project for Illustration 1 class. The other part was us making a Christmas ornament based on the card. Since I am such a Grinch/Scrooge and am not very fond of Christmas, I decided that I would try to get into the spirit and draw my cat with stuff on him for the card. I was planning on sending it out to everyone I know as kind of a "celebrating moving in to a new place with our new cat" kind of card. Then my boyfriend decided he didn't want to be with me anymore and it kind of killed the meaning behind this card. Sorry guys, you won't be getting a card from me this year. Maybe next year.
