"Seriously? F**k you", yet, she pictured his shy smiling face.

Ha! That's just the sort of answer I expected from her, too. She just doesn't let up for a moment, does she? Aw, but it's still an adorable picture. As obnoxious as she can sometimes be, there's a sweetness to her that's not hidden as far under the surface as she might think.
Thanks for answering!

Yeah, I originally planned to ask what she enjoys doing, but I thought it might be more fun to leave it wide open.
I'd actually wondered, by the way, if you had given any further thought to who she might be interested in beyond the mystery guy who walked out on her. Even if this guy is just a random, one-time character I think her thinking of him really works to show both sides of her personality off quite well, and helps make this a little bit more interesting than it would be with just the insult. Not that I would have minded. I was as interested to see how she'd react as I was in getting an answer. Her crush is really kind of cute, too.

So far all I have is that she goes from guy to guy. Rarely are they "good guys", like the one who walked out on her. It's usually just one night stands. But, she eventually meets her best friend's brother and it goes from there. He isn't her type, almost boy like and shy but slowly she starts to change because of him. Kinda connected to this doodle, since like I said, he isn't the type she goes after and she normally never has real feelings for them in the first place: http://www.furaffinity.net/view/6983239/
Yeah, I actually thought about that doodle right after I commented. He really doesn't seem like the sort of guy she'd be likely to date, if only because I know all too well the sorts of relationships a girl like Cara is likely to end up in. But I think that's what really makes this doodle work so well. I try not to make too many guesses or assumptions about other people's characters, but I can't help but think that if she can have any sort of genuine feelings for him then maybe she can find a way to actually be happy someday.
Whether you actually develop their relationship or not, and whether you ever take Cara beyond who she is now or not, it's little glimpses like this that make me like her so much.

No worries, I don't mind. I'm still developing her myself so asking me things or guessing can help sometimes.
What I'm trying to do with Cara is keep her real yet still give her a happy ending and to be honest, I believe happy endings can happen, the problem is that love stories don't happen often enough to seem like they can be real. I don't want her to completely change, unless it was over years (story wise) because that IS unrealistic, it's very difficult to find yourself, to tell yourself you're being a bad person. But I want her to change enough to be tolerable, in the end.

That's good. I just don't want you to think that I'm saying what you should do or anything like that. I just kind of like thinking aloud. Or on screen, as the case might be.
Oh, I believe in happy endings, too. It might not always seem like they can happen, but I know they can. But I like that you're trying to keep things realistic, too. It's true that people don't really change that much and, to be honest, I think it would actually spoil Cara as a character if she suddenly turned into this sugary sweet thing. Characters are more interesting with some flaws, even at Happily Ever After. But people can mellow a bit with a little bit of time and some happiness in their lives. So far, I think you're really doing a good job with letting her work her way slowly toward who she will become.

*nods* Yup. While original characters are fun and all, it's done so much that I want to do something more real. I'm going to find a reason why she's the way she is but I don't want to go with the typical: Rape, abuse, etc(uncaring parents works better). Plus you see so many girls like this, selfish, rude, wants everything and doesnt care about you.
Exactly what I was thinking. If you knew her in real life, you'd want nothing to do with her, but as a character you end up loving her and you do want her to change but completely changing into a hyper, bouncy hyper girl would just ruin it all.
Thanks! That means a lot to me c:
