And I've heard they completely nixed the Iron Warriors anyway, so I'm boned either way.

yeah, chaos had 4 main god factions, khorn, slaanesh, nurgle and tzeench, and 4 undivieded legions, alpha legion, night lords (whom i love too) iron warriors and word bearers and each one of those had special rules, whether it was more of a troop type, counting an eliet or heavy as troops, iron warriors could get vindicators, which at the time wasnt part of the codex, and baskalisks (sp) the IG long ranged fucking tank, but yeah and all these special rules and shit, they were the bomb

Yeah...Iron Warriors were the Seige Specialists with the *tears* beautiful beautiful tanks of epicness. Actually bought a Vindicator command set, just waiting for the Iron Warriors return, but I doubt they'll be back.

Also, never liked the idea of the Chaos lords so the Iron Warriors loving their machines more than anything else spoke to me...even more than fanatics in the imperium which could seem even more brainwashed. Basically, they were badass' just out to crush whatever walls laid before them, for gods or not.
