very nice. i love the whole america thing. america is totally a new nord community made without the emperors permission...wait a sec. HA! i get it! emperor, Britain, nice one! i would say the inner dialogue was confusing at first but i caught on after a moment. good job! never played morrowind but sounds cool!
Holy crap I never even caught the whole America/Britain thin--I MEAN... Yes... that's exactly what I was going for. *shifty eyes* Though technically America was founded with British permission, it just decided to break away without asking first.
But yeah, the inner dialogue is supposed to be a bit confusing. As well as not actually using his name until after he introduced himself to Jiub. It's meant to be like how I play. I'll start a new character, and when it gets to the naming part I'm like, "Damn! I forgot to come up with a name before I started! Again!"
It was like that this time, too. I was typing when all of a sudden BAM! I needed a name. So I just came up with the first name that hit me. Same for his full name, though Merriwether was rather premeditated. It will make a comeback soon.
And if you like Skyrim or Oblivion, you'll probably like Morrowind (though not as much because you've already played a better game. Therefore Morrowind won't be as entertaining. But as for story wise, all of the Elder Scrolls games are connected).
