Crude render of a Griffen assault transport concept from my Foxtrot story. The kind of thing Captain Tara rides around in when her regular Garbin isn't available.

Based (loosely) on a C-130, but with front loading via a disposable nosecone, a synthetic-view cockpit just behind the wing, and a crew upper-deck in the aft section. Idea being it can literally drop the nose on approach, and allow the APC inside to open fire before it's even landed.

Engines: 3x F305-C + 4 lift fans and one ducted thrust fan.
Cargo capacity: 30 tons VTOL. 50 tons STOL.
Nation of origin: Czech Republic
Practicality: Technically it could actually work, but...
