Just came across this whilst surfing. Looks like my Mate's RV in the front. He has a 78 econoline camper with a 351 Windsor in it. It's a BEAST alright. Though he has an Edelbrock carb and holly intakes in her :P hot rod RV.

wello they ran this body from 1975 to 1991, the body style had a very long life span, and was in my opinion, the best looking. mine has the 300 straight six, a massive 6 cyl, but a major powerhouse

My Mother had a van just like this one in 1985 tho not as nice inside. I can remember sliding around inside because it only had the 2 front seats and I had to sit in the back on a milk crate. She wouldnt let any of us kids sit in front cus we always fought over whose turn it was.

The Beast is the same as she looks, she is a cargo van, and thus far, has no rear seats, but she is still a ton of fun to drive

At 9mpg he didnt stay with us long. 1998 GMC Savana. Im driving a 2007 Honda Odyssey now called "Serizawa"

believe it or not, when I get my vaccuum leaks handled, The Beast will get about 18 MPG

We put Godzilla in the shop 2 days after buying him and he got the works. Full tune up and fuel system check and clean, it did not improve the fuel mileage at all. Cramming the 1000.00 up the tailpipe would have gotten us the same result. He was certainly a beast to drive and actually scared me with the handling on the highway. He had everything my hubby wanted, low miles for a 98 (126,000), luxury, tow package, even remote start. But for me it was always fear, climbing in and out without falling. Traffic was a nightmare driving such a huge van in the city. The dealer we traded him to was certainly happy with him though. Im Happy with Seri, nice van good mpg, easy handling and no shudders when a Semi passes me on the highway.

well The Beast is a 1985, and has no computers in her, all carburated, and she's very stable in turns, and on the highway, hell I should know, I took her on two 800 mile trips, the only issues I have are in my manifolds, which are the cause of my vaccuum leaks, and my tires, they are most likely more than 10 years old, but she's been a really good ol girl, can't imagine not having her.

. My original 2001honda was totaled Sept. 7 2011 and we hunted for a month for find another and there were none. So we got Godzilla. Im sure I didnt give him his due, he was a good van, just not the one for me. With my medical issues just getting in and out was a careful thing.

that would make sence, yeah, I was looking for a Ford truck from the 80's, something I could work on, but couldn't find any in good enough shape for a fair price, until my Beast came up on Craigs List, got her for $600, and been happy.

yup, anybody who foul mouths her gets major raping, and I'll tell ya, she hate Ferrari's, at one point a Ferrari passed her, and she just livened up more than normal, well I knew what she wanted, so I gave her the chance to prove what her 300 six was made of, and she made that italian sports car look cheap
