A floor-mate of mine told me about a contest involving making a remix of Queen's "Don't Stop Me Now." All the instrument and vocal tracks were available for use, so I snagged the vocals and used them.
Now, I didn't enter the contest, but I was intrigued by the idea. After being told about the contest and the idea of remixing Queen, I jokingly said something along the lines of "QUEEN DUBSTEP" and then we messed around with the concept.
Eventually, I kinda fell into it, and I made this.
They said I couldn't do it, but I did.
Mind you, this isn't really clean, and it suffers from some tracking issues, but I'm very pleased at how well it works. It's unexpected.
