Except for the picture to the bottom right, all of these photographs were taken by a friend of mine (Kat aka Peaches the coyote) at the shelter she volunteers at. Shyanne here is a very special dog that she has formed an intense bond with. She would take her in herself but has two high energy dogs and a cat of her own.

Shyanne was taken in by a foster, and then brought back after about a month with the reason being "she doesn't get along with the cats". However, none of us can figure out why it took them over a month to figure out she didn't like cats. It sounds suspicious to me. According to my friend, Shyanne was SO happy to see her again but seemed to lack that happy smile she always had when they first met. Not sure what went on in the foster home, but Shyanne is back at the shelter now...and just in time for christmas. I put this little poster together for her to help her get attention.

Shyanne is very sweet, but she is nervous of men (Kat thinks a man might have abused her at one point) If you would like to give this special dog a home, she is located in Rowlett, Texas.
