It would have worked between Terry and Chucky too, IF they had actually lived closer to each other. Even if Chucky didn't ask her out right away, Terry would have pursued him and they could have had a long lasting relationship. Despite their age difference, Chucky was mature for his age and Terry was a bit immature, so they would have worked well together. But it was all not to be. Terry knew that they lived too far from each other. Their towns were connected by a 29 mile foot and bike trail through the mountains that was virtually impassable in winter without backcountry survival experience. Terry couldn't allow Chucky to think he could come and see her in the winter. In the end, their experience was something wonderful shared between two friends who came together at the right moment.
That following January, when winter was at its coldest and darkest, a very lonely and depressed Terry met 31-year-old Miguel. He was the same species, a Bushy-Tailed Woodrat from the area. He had a rough past and was a bit of a fallen angel, like Terry. They were perfect for each other, and got married soon after. Chucky was okay with it(not that he has a choice), but it still tugged at his heartstrings to see them together.
Chucky and Terry stayed good friends and kept writing each other. As shown in the thought cloud above, he visited that next summer and met Miguel. But that was the last time he saw her. At present, they only exchange letters a few times a year.

Aww dang, thats to bad it went that way. At first look Miguel does look like he would be a pretty good match for Terry tho.
And i am sure those 2 girls just see Chucky as a geek and not someone that would be right for them. (like girls i see now days that pick the wrong guy.)
But at least he still has his eyes on flying.

I'm 31 and I finally met someone I can honestly consider as a serious life partner. Heh, that is not to say I didn't have a whole slew of friends with benefits or other girlfriends beforehand. You can't rush love or finding the right person or you'll just end up getting stuck in a situation that's not good for anyone.
Also, confidence is sooo much more effective at attracting the opposite sex than any perfume or cologne or some god awful body spray.

Knowing yourself helps, then you'll know what kind of girl you want. Usually you gotta crash and burn a few times. Chucky really didn't crash and burn with Terry, he just got real lucky. Their circumstances were more against them then anything else. But here's something that neither he nor Terry know. Even if they had lived near each other and had a relationship, they'd both be single now. Terry could not have handled Chucky's ambitious nature, and there was no way he was going put his future on hold for her.

No hybrids. Large brains and walking upright, but still the same speices they evolved from. The only hybrids are within family groups. An American River Otter can breed with an Amazon Giant Otter(Kyra from phisics class is one). But an otter cannot breed with a weasel.
I didn't want to do the hybrid thing because I reasoned, after 30,000 years of hybridizing, every species would be mixed over and over again and most furs wouldn't be recognizable as individual species by Chucky's time. Besides, making to where you have to find your own species to reproduce adds something interesting to it.

Cross-breeding isn't possible for them. Despite being intelligent and upright walking, they're DNA is still as incompatable as it was 50,000 years ago. The price of an interspecies relationship or marriage is no offspring. But then, the world population is a steady and healthy 2 billion furs.

And it just so happened in the theatre today people were talking about "fuckbuddies" when I walked in, and mentioned a rule I wished I had known: NEVER KISS.
That's my favorite thing. It makes ya feel so warm and fuzzy and loved inside don't it?

Finding your inner self and what you vast for can be challenging. Especially in the pool og fem's and hormones... giggles, but there are a lot of reasons things work and dont work when we were younger or older. some we have a choice in some we dont. I cant guide anyone down a road of life all I can do is give you a map and show you where you are now... What you do is up to you,
I grew up hard but independant,,, I do remember my 1st.. man upstairs took her from me tho.. It taught me that one some things you dont take like a treasure, you hoard it and second, you cant redo what you didnt get a chance to wish to do. so I moved on,,, made me Blind... but I have other senses now, Chucky.. my brother.{hugs}

A good educational system and the acceptance of interspecies relationships and marriage helped with that. But there are plenty of countries that see the interspecies thing as immoral and downright illegal. I'll start exposing more of that later on.
I will certainly exlplain the World Alliance eventually. Chucky will have a class during winter quarter called World Socialogy and Demographics, I was going to use that as a perfect time to explain it. I haven't explained much of it yet because Chucky doesn't care about that stuff at this point in his life, and the comic is from his point of view. Like most teenagers, he's mostly concerned with doing good in school and finding a girlfriend.
At some point I should sit down and write all this stuff out so it's consistent. Thanks for taking an interest in it though, you're one of only a few people who've actually asked.

With something like this it's widely felt when know that still feel something deep within when see or hear about someone you liked and was with or close to but never got chance.
I've had my parents and people I work with nag me about things because I not to busy on side I just make sure keep busy then come relax after and chit chat with girl online. I'd prefer get my life somewhat established but still know isn't gonna happen to soon so work toward the goal of tomorrow trying to enjoy the days for what it brings.

LOL realy im only one of a few? well his world is well um..nicer it apears then the real one (live in detroit or flint MI for a year youll see!) and since adam is going fer millitary i was just woundering how the allience works. ps i saw you said you have a yaer drawn out allready? why only update every two weeks or so?
It appears nicer, but they've got their own issues too. The military, once you're actually in it, you're in there with cadets from all World Alliance countries. The military is sort of like a joint force of all participating countries.
