That's... true. I've always loved the shows and comics, but only recently got back into the fandom.

I'm still somewhat away from it myself, I've loved transformers since I was young. Albeit my memory difficulty gives me trouble actually remembering my earliest memories regarding it, like G1 for example.

I don't actually remember really seeing a full series of any given transformer cartoon I've watched in years. The one I've seen the most of that I remember is Energon, and I kinda wish I'd seen all of Armada instead, since they tended to look a little less derpy, and weren't trying to conform to the story of a completely unrelated series like Energon and whatever the one after that with all the Austrailian VAs was XD

That's reason enough to love him.

Well he lead me back in and then I stumbled across Drift, safe to say he deserves some props. XD

Drift ... you either love him or hate him. I love him. Though I'm sure it helps that he came with Wing. Such a pretty pair.

It's so true. Sadly, the majority of people I have met hate him. :c Goodness yes, they are lovely together. ♥

It is sad. I may understand their reasons as explained, but I don't care. I like him, I like my hard-luck-changing-sides-slightly-whacked characters.
Wing's death is my #1 'fix it' item in any fic with Drift. So many ways to bring a dead mech back. It's quite nice.

Damn straight. I do get why some of them dislike him, but alas he will always be my favorite next to Jazz, Wing and Perceptor. He's just so intense in the comics it was hard not to get hooked on him. I am so very glad you do bring Wing back, poor darling was killed far too soon. I think he would have fleshed out into an even more amazing character if they had put more effort into him.

Very much agreed. Do you read antepathy http://shadow-vector.livejournal.com ? She's to blame for hooking me on Drift/Wing. I actually read her work first, then hunted down the trade paperback, and got even more hooked on them.

Jazz/Prowl, Mirage/Prowl (with Prowl created for Mirage), Axe/Dai Atlas (as Wing's creators) are among my other favored pairings/characters at the moment, but I dabble in everything ... as you probably know.

Oh Antepathy, yes! I adore her stuff, she fueled the fire for my obsession with any pairing involving Drift or Wing. I actually found you after stumbling across her stuff. :D Then it lead to finding LadyDragon76 as well. Though it was you who got me back into Jazz/Prowl, they were my OTP for such a long time so thank you~

I really dig the Axe/Dai Atlas pairing now ( As well as them being Wing's creators, that's just adorable. ). Especially after your fics and the art you got of them. Which in turn reminds me of... Dart? I think that is the fanon name for the mech from the Drift comics that gets his 15 minutes of fame. Cute little guy.

I adore Mirage. Prowl is one of those characters that definitely grew on me, much like Sunstreaker.

Alteride! I can't believe I wasn't watching her until now. I've seen her work around and she's got such an awesome style. I've seen the ref of Wing's alt mode and it's been open every time I need a ref for Wing's wings. XD I love that Prowl, the fact that he looks like the movie prequel comic design makes me smile, but has just the right twist to make him very unique.

Oh my goodness Marwir is so lovely. ♥ I dig her colors and her snarky personality just makes me love her more.

Oh yes, Prowl was heavily influenced by the pre-movie comic. I much prefer Cybertronian Jazz there too. He looked so much better than in the movie.
