It's a nice tribute. I wish I could do something for my mom's Himalayan (her name was Molly) had to be put down earlier today cause of her kidneys failing...Had to go out there today and bury her were we buried her Jack Russel when it came home from being shot (that was two year ago).

I'm so sad to hear that and it's a lovely piece of art. I think it's amazing how wrong people are about bulldogs... Clearly this dog was a lovely companion to you and your parents. I love to see them portrayed as the loving and lovable animals they are, even if I'm a cat person.

Bulldogs are an amazing animal.

Dying of old age with the family that cares for them is about the best a pet could ask for.

He had a family taking care and died of old age.... many dogs got it worse.
Nevertheless, it's the loss of a family member, and that hurts

I know how it feels to lose a beloved pet.
I still cry about it sometimes.

I remember a lot of how my family and I felt when we had to put our beloved dog to sleep. We were all so depressed for months. Then around Thanksgiving, we were delivering a Thanksgiving basket to a house and their neighbor's dog and their dog had a litter of puppies. We almost begged our mum to just let us check it out and the second we saw them, we fell in love and bought one. It was fate since the one we picked walked right to my mum ^^ I hope your parents got another dog to fill that void
