Oh dear GOD that tutu! I didn't know that you sewed adorable dolls!

I made a fatbatcat MANY years ago before I even owned a sewing machine and the hand sewing was so painful for me because it just TOOK SOOO LONGG that I never really dabbled in it again. And I've tried making little felt things like this: http://www.etsy.com/listing/8462826.....ga_ship_to=US&ga_search_type=handmade&ga_facet=handmade and had fun but never really got the itch to make a stuffed animal. THEN one day my friend came over and just made a stuffed rabbit OUT OF NOWHERE @_@ I didn't even know she had the power!! And i saw how easy it was to make your own pattern SO I've always had the idea there. Then sometime last week I was in a felt mood and I just cut out a stupid fat shape and started making a unicorn. I got out all my old supplies and made this baby. I've been making different ones this past week and teaching myself new ways to make them using my machine + hand sewing and its been a lot of fun! Because this one is my first she has a lot of flaws!

Haha but it's an essay about sewing cute things! And you have a way of telling stories and making them fun/interesting/funny.
I keep wanting to get into amigurumi and I have a ton of books, but my crochet skills are only so/so, and my books are in Japanese, and I have a really hard time reading if there's no furigana. Meaning, amigurumi are still a long, long way off.

haha ok good I'm glad you are at least entertained XD oh man I'm so bad at crocheting because my mind easily wanders and then I lose track of what I'm doing and its SO repetitive and tedious and while I know its soothing for most I'd just be there going "shit did I put it through the right loop? fuck I dunno"
