Silly PETA. cows do not suffer when milked. However, when they're NOT milked, then they suffer. Awfully uncomfortable for the cow...

Well, there is a right and a wrong way to milk a cow. Over-milking, certain industrial milking methods, and other such things do cause pain to cows, as I understand it. So.... yeah. I'm not really sure what that means overall, but it is something to consider.

I like animals more than people sometimes, but when you start telling people to call fish "sea puppies" to stop fishing, and insist that humans are naturally vegetarians... I'm sorry, but you've lost my respect.

Plus I had one threaten to throw pig blood at me for wearing a fur hat and jacket collar in public (in -40C); I guess I should only do that in the privacy of my own home

That's a good point, I can't think of any ethical ways to bleed a pig, but maybe we're wrong. Still, anyone who is slowly freezing to death (wearing only a cotton beanie and a polyester jacket in weather colder than a deep freezer) and harping on a man nearly twice his weight in an Afghanka jacket who looks surprised and very angry, obviously isn't thinking logically, or about potential consequences.

That's the same sort of person who, unsolicited, approached me and screamed that I was a murderer and baby killer until several good Samaritans were convinced that I really was a criminal. All of this was because I had been loading a rifle and a crate of ammunition into a truck; had I really been a murderer I literally had a gun and 50lbs of assault rifle munitions in my hands, and she was pointing and calling me names.

I LOVE YOU. I'm all for the fair treatment of animal.. growing up in a farming family but PETA doesn't seem to care or respect the animal they say to care for...

I do love the vegitarian furs for whom their chosen species is a carnivore or omnivore.

I'm down with the deer, rabbits, and bugs being against the eating of meat, but canine herbivore? No. Besides, everytime my dog eats grass she throws up.

I stopped supporting PETA a long time ago, but when they went after Mario for "wearing a fur suit" in one of his games.... that's crossing the line. Really like these little strips though. Makes me glad to see I'm not alone on these things lol

yeah, peta is good for a laugh every now and then though!... like thier recent bashing of mario wearing fur! of all teh acts of animal cruelty in that series adn they pick the suit you get from a magic leaf. :P dorkly had a great rebutal video to it. :P

You're starting to lose me on these. Not that I disagree with what you're saying, they're just starting to get rather smug, which is kind of turning the joke back on you.

HA! ;p i never said I was perfect. Nor is my opinion infallible. I am fully aware there may be two sides to an issue, oddly im not seeking praise or comedy for these, its a by product of what my true goal is, to get people to discuss the underlying causes and reasoning behind why people do what they do.

Also pretty sure my smugness is worse in #6. My opinion isn't the end all be all in any argument, in fact i am often one to fall prey to the fact that violence is a weak man's first resort. So in that sense im probably just as flawed as my victims i rant about. I can laugh at myself for being imperfect and reacting unreasonably in the face of stupidity. I have little tolerance for it but i realize that in lacking that tolerance, im just as bad if not worse.

No worries then. Besides, it wasn't your opinions that I was commenting about, but rather the way your character seems to "stand aloof" from the people you're satirizing. The caricature of "they are stupid, I am not" is starting to wear a bit thin for my taste, but not enough to stop watching. Just enough to inspire me to comment however, which means that your goal to inspire discussion on the causes and reasoning is succeeding, just in a slightly different direction.

ahah I realize the sentiment. the purpose of me being violent (as im prone to be anyway) is a way of balancing that scale, yes, people are stupid, but they may not deserve to be beaten to shit for it either. :p

I cannot ever recall meeting a PETA member who wasn't barking mad. The organization encourages it. I know of plenty of animal rights groups and vegans who won't have anything to do with them. Hell, I'M a recently-converted vegan and I don't want anything to do with them!
