Trolling someone is rarely awesome, but that comment was just...right.
I will never look on the like/dislike bar the same way ever again!

It could be said the other way around too, if the 'like' bar was longer - it'd be a Jedi lightsaber. Here, it's a Stith... erm, Sith. (Btw, why do all Sith use red lightsabers? Guess for the same reason most Decepticons have red eyes... in the eighties: red=communism=evil)
Yup. I saw the Green version too, but the Red is funnier, because it1s minor trolling about the dislikes.
Sith lightsabers are red because of the crystals they are using to focus the light. The Jedi colors are representing a Jedi's occupation: Jedi Consular, Jedi Sentinel or Jedi Guardian (Yellow, Blue, Green) Jedi Masters are using other colors as well, but not because it's pretty, but because the crystal enables them to fight at their fullest capacity.
Sith doesn't need to focus on any aspect (Altough there are different specializations, but that's power based.) There was a time when thousands of Stih were in the galaxy. I bet some of them had different colored lightsabers as well, but Red is the most common color for them. After the Sith Order got back to it's original path (Darth Bane enforced, the rule of the 1 Master and 1 Apprentice: One to hold the power, and one to crave it!) the color red was 100% agreed, because there were only two Sith in existance ever since! Okay that's a little untrue, but the Rule of the 1-1 is effectively ongoing since Darth Bane. There were however renegade Sith too, also with Red lightsabers...

Heh, yeah, I know about these explanations, but it's just fancy later-made canon for the basic "red=EVIL"
What did Mace Windu's purple lightsaber color represent, then? Maybe he gets a new color based on the fact he is pure badass and is being played by Samuel L. Jackson. (I have once read a hilarious parody called 'Pulp Jedi' which re-writes the Pulp Fiction story with Mace Windu and Obi-Van as the two main characters, set in the SW universe... )

Well, there are several fighting styles with the lightsaber. 6 or 7, but I'm not sure how many oficial one's there is, which is taught by the Jedi...One deflects projectiles, Other focuses on fighting multiple opponents at once, one focuses fighting and using the force, etc...Most Jedi Masters know all the form, but use one, that represents their fighting style the best.
Mace Windu developed a lightsaber style based upon the many armed monster called Vaapad. The style used quick and deadly strikes to overcome the enemy, much like how the vaapad would use its tentacles on prey. Windu created this style with aid from Sora Bulq, although Windu and his former apprentice, Depa Billaba, were considered to be the form's only masters.
M.W. states, that Vaapad style uses His own Dark Side, because it's a heavily aggressive style, thus not to be taught to anyone, without the temp of Dark Side Corruption. Thus M.W. is the only Master of Vaapad, His lightsaber's purple represents His unique style, and Mastery over Vaapad! The crystal that colors His lightsaber's light to purple helps Him with this unique style, and also prevents Him to fall for the Dark Side. Whenever He uses Vaapad, He is tempted, but He was Jedi to His end...
I saw other Jedi - Episode two, in the arena ring - using purple colored lightsabers...The hell was with that? Must be copy-ing M.W. or something... Lol.

You are a real SW nerd, aren't you? I wish there was a short name for that... Star Trek fans are called Trekkies, but I never heard a name for Star Wars fans...
Hmm, now that you mention it, there indeed were Jedi using purple in the arena. But we never saw any in the Clone Wars toon.
Or maybe, lightsabers change color if you lick them.

SW nerd...me? Nah. I don't know that much about the SW universe. I just played K.O.T.O.R. 1-2 and enjoyed the story. I just explored Wookipedia after that to fill out some holes in my knowledge. I do love a well thought out universe, and I aim to know the basics at least...or even a bit more. And I only red 4 SW books in my life, so I'm nearly not qualified to be called an SW nerd...apprentice nerd at best.
Well, you know a lot about Mace Windu's fighting style and some of the expanded universe, as these characters you mention only appeared there, probably. Me, I only follow Clone Wars and that's that. The prequels have been a big disappointment, and I overall prefer Trek over Wars.
It's still not SW fanatic. I just tend to be thorough with the stuff, that gets my attention. I was told by my boyfriend's friend (who is a real SW geek...have every possible version of the movie in every language He can get, etc...), that the SW storyline is actually 9 books long, not 6. I told Him, that I know there are a bunch of SW books, but I don't want to get too deep into it. He gave me the books after The "retun of the Jedi" - 3 books: Episode 7-8-9. That was a great read.
They introduce a new character, Grand Admiral Thrawn (full name: Mitth'raw'nuruodo). He was a military genius, best strategist in the galaxy even. He was one of the Grand admirals of the Imperial Army. But He was special: He was an alien. The Emperor HATED any alien races. But G.A. Thrawn was so genial, that His skills are not just noted by the Emperor, but even respected and admired. Some say if Thrawn was commanding either Deathstar, then the New Republic wouldn't had a chance of winning.
So i red the three books. Thrawn was sure about His strategies, and dared maneuvers other thought suicidal...He never was wrong! His crew waited, that Thrawn will eventually fail. He didn't. At the end of book 9 even I was thinking "No way He's going to win! It's the end of the book. Only 30 pages are left. He has GOT TO BE WRONG this time! His strategy will fail, no, MUST FAIL!"
Nope! He wasn't failing! He is the best strategist in the galaxy. His plans always worked. He was NEVER wrong! F*ck! He was that awesome! Eventually, he died by the hand of an assassin, in the middle of the winning battle. His Army awaited His orders, on How to crush the Republic Forces, and when they looked at Him, thrawn was sitting in his chair, and was dead...stabbed sillently by >spoliers.<...
His Army lost the battle without Him, But in His life Grand Admiral Thrawn was unbeatable and was always a step ahead of his foes!
Hehehe! I won't write here how He did it, But He did conquer an entire planet with an unbeatable shield around it, just by shooting at one cornfield...The planet was so scared (the fact of the shot landed was unthinkable to them) that they turned themselves over. Thrawn did capture it, by just one shot at a cornfield...amazing achivement, and the best part of the three books IMO.
I may know much about the story part of SW, but not all. But what's interesting to me, i tend to research.

Oh yeah, I read those books. They are sort-of the unofficial new triology. I would not be surprised if they made those movies still. And Thrawn is an interesting character. Maybe the Clone Wars saga will bring it back.
Btw, getting back on the topic of trolling... have you ever been trolled AND complimented at the same time? I often post my stuff on Rule34, and there is a guy there who, while congratulating me one time, strated accusing me of art theft at another, just posting that 'looks suspiciosly like Lonebluewolf's art'. And of course, never replying when I told him heck, he could see the link to my FA account, I am posting my own work. I got fed up when he also accused me of the same regarding my Diablo II comic (12 pages!) - and when I called him out, he was surprised and asked why I was so riled up about it... Sheesh. The weird thing is, he can say nice things about my work and then kick me in the back with his next word... a true artist in trolling, if there ever was one.

Well, sadly, Rule34 does not allow moderation... you just upload stuff and from there on, it's free prey.
I only upload there because a lot of folks prowl that site mostly for, well, Rule 34 of characters I often draw myself. I have people who came over to FA to watch my stuff after finding me there.

Oh, almost forgot... there is a troll on FA who openly states he doesn't like furry art, and thinks we all have something wrong in our head... he even posts his own human drawings here. I once had the misfortune to get him to give me 'sound advice' like "This is pretty messed up" and "please seek therapy", and this was before FA allowed you to delete/hide comments. I checked his page and to my surprise I found he had a lot of normal comments on his profile, despite him stating there that he is only here to troll us 'furfags'. Huh, I guess he needed a hobby badly and this was all he could find?
Hehe, yep, like the Joker used to say.
-"If this continues, I'll go MAD!"
"-And what's wrong with that? It has done wonders for me!
Anyway, I am glad we have FA - outside this place, the net is not so accepting of us furries. And even furry boards are sometimes full of trolls. I once joined the hungarian furry board for about 1 month. I left after the upteenth time to start some intelligent conversation was derailed by trolls. A guy even told me "Well, most of the trolls are moderators and most of the moderators are trolls." I felt no reason to stay after that...
