Brytne, a female sumatran tiger (Panthera tigris sumatrae) at the Toronto Zoo, takes pause during a rainy day to look rather surly and unkempt. With Sumatran tigers living in the rainforests of Sumatra, they're quite used to being wet; however, the humidity does horrible things to one's fur.

Unfortunately, Brytne here passed away recently. She can be found quite often in my gallery as a lively and beautiful tiger. She inspired and educated millions of visitors at the zoo while producing many cubs under the Sumatran tiger Species Survival Plan. May she rest in peace.
