As I mentioned on http://www.furaffinity.net/view/7036390 I wasn't happy with how the colours looked on the character design I had done. I generally liked the look of the character but felt that the colours were less then great.
So I spent a little time this afternoon laying around with alternate colours of feathers and clothing and this is what I came up with.
I think I like the middle one the best, but I kind of like the black feathered one as well, and actually, after changing the colour of the clothing I don't mind the purple so much either, but it's still my least favourite of the bunch.
Let me know what you guys think. I may still change the colours around a bit after this, specifically in regards tot he colour of the wing and tail markings, but now I'm getting closer to something I like.
And again, please let me know your opinion or if you have any criticisms.
All of these concept images will likely be thrown into scraps as soon as I have the final design nailed down.

Question though? What is her personality like? If its stronger and defiant id go with the right one, as the reds invoke a feeling of fear. If shes more noble but still strong id go with the center as the softer browns invoke a feeling of safty. However if shes more gental but protective id go with the left, as the bright color invokes a feeling of carring. Anyways thats just my oppinion though
The black feathered one looks somewhat more natural. The middle one's a tad too bight to be sincere, if it were slightly darker, then it'd be more or less the same as the black feathers in preference.
Oh, right. It might ALSO be just personal preference since I like darker colors but.
