Hey there folks! =D Here's part 3 for you!
This story was a bit of a cameo nightmare, hope everybody is satisfied with how your characters got represented. If not please mention it to me and I'll try to work to fix it =3 Anyway I hope you enjoy!
In this installment of Double Act the first official metting of the "Nanny & Teddy-Chan Fanclub" comes to order... but how will they react to Rose's announcement of their impending match and her encounter with Nanami? And we look in on Team Leviathan again, what evil could they be plotting for our heroes? Read to find out!

“Well… at least we know she went all out…”
“Is that a highchair?”
“Yep.”
“… and a rocking ponyta…”
“That’s another yep.”
“… I wanna go home Rose.”
“Calm down Petie, it can’t be as bad as it looks… I think.”
Suzie had managed to get a room for the fanclub, Petie and Rose honestly weren’t surprised she’d been able to reserve it so easily. The place was tucked away from any windows, smaller than a regular classroom, and aside from an attached storage closet, it looked like even the janitors had forgotten about it… at least until Suzie got ahold of it. After the zangooses makeover it looked a little too overdone even for Rose’s tastes.
Suzie had mention knowing some people who could help her set up the club… now Rose wondered just who those people were. The first thing they noticed was a thick, comfy rug covering the bare tile. Chairs ranging from worn looking cushioned ones to several beanbag seats were strewn about in a rough semi-circle with one particularly large and comfy chair obviously put there for Nanny to sit comfortably in.
A large desk acted as a podium and was probably the only original piece of furniture left in the room. Several long strips of plush cloth hung draped on the walls and served no other purpose then to cover up the drabness and give the place a kind of harem like feel. Lastly Suzie had apparently had some fun with getting things for Teddy-Chan as there was a plush looking highchair right next to Nanny’s seat, a slightly worn rocking ponyta sat in the back corner, and a few baby toys and plushies were scattered on the rug. As they took it all in, the two had no clue WHAT to make of it as Suzie grinned from where she stood behind the desk.
“Hi Nanny! Hi Teddy-Chan! Do you like it?”
Rose managed to politely skirt the issue as they greeted Suzie and received eager welcome hugs from the bouncy girl as she talked a mile a minute about everything she had planned. Finally after struggling to keep up with the conversation Rose managed to get a word in edgewise to tell her that they had an announcement to make when everyone arrived which managed to quiet her down slightly. Luckily for Petie’s mood she had some cookies, punch, and other snacks ready in advance. While Rose settled into her seat to wait, Suzie playfully fed the blushing teddy. Though the bottle feeding might have been a bit much… not that it kept Rose from snapping a photo or two of it with her phone cause of how cute it was.
People started to arrive for the meeting. First was Mari, a furret who was a close friend of Petie and Jules, followed closely by the umbreon Azure who was a big supporter of the two. Afterwards the twins Dalamance and Dominique showed up, the clefa and happiny being friends of Petie. Not long after other people started to pour in. TJ the flareon came to support Petie. Jewel the typhlosion came to cheer the two on. Max the magmar came to support Rose (though he didn’t want to admit it). Sarah the reshiram showed up as well to wish them both good luck. Cathy the kangaskhan showed up to support Rose, bringing her baby Gina along and dragging Jess the kabutops with them. Soon enough the room was filled with various folks who came to support Nanny & Teddy-Chan.
After the room became filled with noisy chaos, and Julie managed to get Jules off the rocking ponyta, Suzie called the meeting to order… sort of. It was more like she went around and personally welcomed and hugged every person there. Rose waited patiently for this to finish as Petie found himself playing with Gina since the little khan kept reaching for him and shouting “Teddy” He couldn’t help but smile softly as Gina giggled and clapped like mad as they rode the Rocking ponyta together. Finally when everything had quieted down Rose stood up, took a deep breath, and began to talk.
She was grateful everyone was quiet, except for Gina giggling happily, Rose explained that they had a new match set up and about her encounter with Nanami… though Petie did cut in a few times when she exaggerated events a little too much. Finally she finished and looked around, worried about how everyone would react. She didn’t have to wait long.
“You need to put that girl down.” Mari said, her face completely serious. Max nodded in agreement as he frowned "What rubbish! A peasant doesn't get the attention she wants, and she turns all the blame onto others for her own flaws! She sounds like nothing more than a spoiled child who throws a tantrum if her mother isn't there every minute on the minute!" Jewel chuckled and shook her head “"Wow, the nerve of that bitch to behave like that just because she didn't get her 15 seconds in the limelight. I thought all the fire types I clashed with had short fuses but damn..."
Cathy and Jess looked offended at how Nanami had accused the pair of not being siblings. Cathy gently patted Rose’s shoulder. The two began to dispense battle advice for her to consider when facing the milotic. Sarah meanwhile just shook her head and looked to Rose "I'm sure you'll beat her, and it'll help get her pride in check a little more. I have chem class with her and she's not that bad. Just don't hold back because she's nice to me." she said as Rose nodded a little in response.
The other mon had gathered around Petie trying to lift his spirits after that encounter as he blushed and cuddled a giggling Gina. Azure snuggled him gently and rubbed his head to cheer him up and TJ smiled at him “I know you can do it Petie, go show them how a tough bear fights." he said reassuringly as Jules nodded eagerly “Yeah! I know you can win!” he chirped making Petie fidget under all the attention.
“OKAY!” everyone jumped as Suzie slapped her hands down on the desk to get their attention,, a huge grin on the zangooses face “Looks like we’ve got our first club project!” she cheered jumping a little for emphasis as everyone just stared at her “Sooooooooo” she started in a sing song voice, looking from member to member “How are we gonna support Nanny & Teddy-Chan in this match? Besides cheering I mean.” She giggled and looked at everyone again “Any ideas?”
“Well… me and Jess can help her prepare for the match.” Cathy offered “We’ve had a lot of water type battle experience.” she said as Jess nodded, the kabutops having pulled out a small piece of stone and started to carve it into the shape of a baby bear. TJ nodded “Yeah, we can help them train!” he said eagerly grinning. Rose smiled and nodded “Extra help is always welcome, though I’m going to have to do a little research on Team Leviathan before I decided on how we’re going to train.” she said, kneeling down to pat Petie’s head.
Mari tapped her chin a little “Ummm… I guess I could go ask around, see if anybody wants to help and tell more people about the match?” she offered making Jewel snap her fingers “Oh! Why don’t we make some posters then? That’d help let people know about the match… and some banners too!” she added as Sarah grinned at this suggestion “We should make some flags too! Those are really popular… and some t shirts! I know a guy who can make us some with Nanny & Teddy-Chan on them!”
Suzie giggled and clapped her hands “We could set up a little souvenir shop!” she cheered grinning at the idea. Max looked up from watching Jess carve her third likeness of Petie and scratched his cheek a little “Well… if we’re going to do that maybe we could find some place to make some action figures of them or something?” he suggested “And we can use any profits we get to help the club too… after giving them a little cut for using their likeness.” He added motioning to Rose and Petie as she played with her hair a little as she thought this over “Well… it sounds like a good idea anyway… but be sure to make one for Nanami and Kaito too.” she said as everyone gave her a strange look. She smiled and shrugged a little “What? She’s already mad at me, no reason to try and go pissing her off anymore for no reason right?”
Dominque and Dalamance had been whispering to each other and messing with a sketchbook ever since Suzie had asked her question and the two finally looked up, huge grins on their faces, as they said as one “A new outfit!!” getting everybody’s attention. Suzie was the first to react as she clapped her hands and jumped up and down eagerly “A new outfit! That’s a great idea!” she grinned to everybody “It’s a new match so why SHOULDN’T Nanny and Teddy-Chan have a new costume? Right? Come on…” she giggled as her tail swished eagerly “Anyone have any suggestions?”
The twins tried to jump up and announce their idea but were cut off by TJ speaking up first “Um… how about Ninetails and Vulpix? It’d be hot and cute on them!” Sarah tapped her chin “Against water types? How about Raichu and Pichu instead?” she offered as Mari raised her hand “How about some native dresses from northern Hoen?” luckily Rose was quick enough to quiet Petie before he could pitch a fit about the idea of wearing a dress in the arena. Azure tilted her head to the side and asked “Maybe we could get something with a darker color scheme?”
“Well…” Cathy said, cutting in “Whatever it is it might be best if we planned for it to get real wet since you’re fighting water types.” She offered as Jess nodded “Yeah, something form fitting that won’t drag when it gets wet.” Max fidgeted a little before speaking up “Um… maybe a beach themed costume would be good then…?” he said, though the poorly concealed blush on his face made you wonder what he was picturing. The twins pouted at being cut off so much before taking a deep breath and all but shouting “WE SAY IT SHOULD BE PIRATE THEMED!!!” getting everyone’s attention.
The two started talking in rapid fire succession as they showed sketches of their outfit design from their sketchbook before Rose coughed to get their attention “How about you talk with me about it later, okay?” she said smiling as the two nodded vigorously. Suzie giggled at this “Should we brainstorm on hold items next?” Rose just laughed and shook her head “Don’t do ALL the work for me and Teddy-Chan. We want to have enough to wear him out for his afternoon nap.” she said giving a pouting Petie a playful wink “Anyway it was real fun hanging out with all of you, but I’m afraid me and Teddy-Chan have to go.” she finished getting up.
There was several protests and pouting, the pouting coming mostly from Suzie, as Rose scooped Petie up and gently handed a protesting Gina (who wanted to keep her new “Teddy”) back to Cathy “Sorry everybody.” Rose said as she cradled her little brother “But I’m willing to bet Team Leviathan isn’t just sitting around talking right now so its best me and Teddy-Chan get to work training right away. If you find us you’re more than welcome to help.” She added with a giggle as she slipped Petie into her pouch despite his protests.
“It was really great talking with all of you.” She said opening the door “But with how angry Nanami was I really don’t wanna face her unprepared. Arceus know what training she’s doing right now. See you all!” she waveed, helping a pouting Petie to wave as well, as she stepped out of the room and headed towards the nearest gym.

“… sister.”
“Mmph.”
“Sister.”
“Mmmmmph.”
“Nanami.”
“MMMPH!!”
“That’s enough ice cream already!”
Pouting Nanami reluctantly put down the spoon and the nearly emptied carton of triple-fudge-ripple to glare weakly at her little brother. Kaito sighed and sat down next to her. He’d never figure out how she always managed to find the ice cream for one of her pig outs when her temper got the better of her but he knew they needed to talk. Luckily Nanami had chosen a rather remote part of the campus to binge so they had some privacy.
“Sister… you know you lost your temper” He said slowly and gently, like a feral trainer talking down a spooked animal “and you went and did things you shouldn’t have and said things you shouldn’t have.” He continued as Nanami just pouted more and looked away. Kaito groaned and rubbed the sides of his shell. He knew EXTREMELY well how difficult Nanami could be when she got like this “You wouldn’t be here stuffing yourself with ice cream if you didn’t know you went too far sister.”
The milotic snorted a little but finally spoke “… fine… maybe I got a little miffed…” she felt Kaito’s eyes staring at her “… lost my temper a little?” more staring “… got a bit angry?” more staring “Fine!” she threw up her arms “I blew up like an electrode on steroids! You happy now?” she glared at Kaito… who simply nodded. She groaned and rubbed her temples “So what the heck do you want me to DO about it? I’m NOT canceling the match…”
“… because it would make you look stupid?”
“… have I mentioned those dry observations of yours can be grating at times?” she said, rolling her eyes before growling “And anyway I’m not sorry about most of what I said! Those two showboaters don’t deserve to be popular!” Kaito just waited for her to stop snarling before he spoke up “I admit their theme is rather… loud for my tastes, let me ask you this.” He paused to make sure he had Nanami’s attention “How is it their fault our team isn’t as popular?” Nanami’s mouth snapped open to answer but she paused as nothing came out. She tried again but couldn’t come up with an answer. Finally she just slumped.
“… have I mentioned I really hate it when you’re right?”
“A few times yes… sister, you need to apologize.” Kaito said, giving his big sister a reassuring hug which Nanami returned after sighing softly “Both for how you acted and what you said.” He finished looking up to her. She smiled wearily and gently rapped on his shell “What, you think those two actually have a sibling bond?” she asked as Kaito just shrugged “That’s not for me to say… but they seem close to each other and to care about each other… what more would they need?” he asked as Nanami’s face fell again as she thought this over. Groaning she gently pulled Kaito into her lap and cuddled him.
“You’re on quite the roll today little bro… so what are we supposed to do now?”
“Well Sister we should train and sometime before the match you should try to apologize to them. Okay?”
“Okay…”
“Good.”
“… then we kick their butts during the match right?”
“Yes sister, then we kick their butts.”

“A few times yes… sister, you need to apologize.” Kaito said, giving his big sister a reassuring hug which Nanami returned after sighing softly “Both for how you acted and what you said.” He finished looking up to her. She smiled wearily and gently rapped on his shell “What, you think those two actually have a sibling bond?” she asked as Kaito just shrugged “That’s not for me to say… but they seem close to each other and to care about each other… what more would they need?” he asked as Nanami’s face fell again as she thought this over. Groaning she gently pulled Kaito into her lap and cuddled him.
“You’re on quite the roll today little bro… so what are we supposed to do now?”
“Well Sister we should train and sometime before the match you should try to apologize to them. Okay?”
“Okay…”
“Good.”
“… then we kick their butts during the match right?”
“Yes sister, then we kick their butts.”
