"Suffering"

Stumbling around in the dark,
Like a child in a strange new world,
The darkness swallows me whole.

The colorful world draining away,
A monochrome existance,
It's hard to see anything else.

Afternoon slips away into the night,
Laying in my empty bed,
My thoughts spinning around like fireflies.

My every movement paralyzed,
Fear spreadin through my core,
Unable to make the decision I need to make.

This bad day won't end,
All the simple things seem to go wrong,
You sit there and watch me suffer.
